The Daff and Dewi Collection

The Daf and Dewi Collection is a series of playful, character-driven illustration projects following my two original characters through humour, storytelling, and immersive visual worlds. Combining narrative illustration with elements of installation and sequential storytelling, the collection explores themes of friendship, identity, travel, and everyday life through a light-hearted and expressive approach.
Off the Wall! was an installation-based exhibition project that marked the early development of the characters, using cut-outs, props, speech bubbles, and sculptural elements to bring Daf and Dewi out of the frame and into the gallery space.
The success of the project later led to me being selected for the Cardiff–Stuttgart exchange programme. Created as part of this exchange, Twin Between follows the pair as they travel from Cardiff to Stuttgart, navigating unfamiliar places and cultural differences while exploring ideas of connection and shared experience through playful visual storytelling.
